Allen R. Dorkin is a Certified Public Accountant who began his career in 1968 with a national CPA firm that specialized in the securities industry and taxation. It had among its varied client base many major commercial clients. After four years of diversified auditing and accounting experience, which included financial reporting for public and privately held companies in various industries, Allen left to help start DDK & Company.

Allen has specialized in transactional-oriented matters since 1972. His active role in the Firm’s litigation support and real estate areas is the result of years of consulting to many clients and financial institutions. For 25 years he has been advising clients and has watched them grow from start-ups to multi-million dollar enterprises. Allen has advised on wealth preservation, as well as successor planning.

Allen has been a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1973 and has served on the Society’s management committees and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He has also lectured for the Faculty Bank of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Allen is a graduate of Long Island University. He is active in his community and serves on the boards of many philanthropies.
