At DDK, we believe that we have a vital role to be leaders and be involved in the community at large, and not merely the business community.  The example that we set helps define who we are and how much we care.  We hope that our recent projects and participation have helped make a difference in someone else's life.

On Friday July 9th 2010 the DDK Women2Women (W2W) group participated in the magnificent volunteer program at the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen where we happily aided in serving 1,105 meals to feed the hungry community of New York City.

On Sunday June 13, 2010, John Cipollone, Tax Supervisor with DDK & Company LLP participated in 6th Annual Lake Placid Marathon in honor of his niece Theresa Rose and to support the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital of Westchester Medical Center.  John trained for a year and finished 26.2 mile race in 4 hours and 44 minutes.  John and his team was able to raise $3,000 and he plans to continue his community involvement in the future.

Mr. Allen R. Dorkin, managing partner at DDK & Company LLP has served this past year as the Co-Chair of UJA accountants division Executive Board.

Allen had the honor of making a presentation at this year's annual Luncheon.
