House Passes PPP Extension Act of 2021

Last night the House passed the PPP Extension Act of 2021 (H.R. 1799), in a 415-3 vote. This bill extends the filing deadline for PPP applications by 60 days, from March 31 2021 to May 31 2021. It also provides the U.S. Small business administration (SBA) with an additional 30 days to finish processing applications received by May 31. The bill has bipartisan support and is expected to pass the Senate and be signed into law. As always, we will keep you updated as the situation unfolds.
