Stewart J. Langhaus, CPA

Stewart has been a partner at DDK for over two decades, beginning his career with the firm as a staff accountant. Over the years, he has embraced new challenges and taken on leadership roles both within DDK and externally. His attention to detail and technical skills in tax, accounting, and financial reporting have made him a trusted advisor to clients across the real estate, wholesale and distribution, and professional services industries. He is particularly recognized for his expertise in reviewing agreements and for assessing business operations and financial processes.

In addition to his work at DDK, Stewart had also provided outsourced CFO services to companies in need of financial leadership on a short-term and long-term basis. In these roles, he developed and implemented policies and procedures that enhanced stability, strengthened controls, and improved operational efficiency. He continues to advise clients and their leadership. He is particularly energized by collaborating with clients—offering proactive guidance, resolving potential issues before they arise, and helping them consider and discover new opportunities for growth in this changing environment of tax law and accounting rules.

When not at work, Stewart enjoys playing pickleball and golf, listening to music, reading outdoors on warm summer days, and most of all, spending time with his family.
